Polk turns 50 this year! We’re celebrating our milestone anniversary with a special collector’s edition of our iconic Reserve R200 bookshelf speaker, numbered and signed by Matthew Polk.

We chose the Reserve R200, our most celebrated speaker in recent history, to commemorate 50 years of innovation, because it perfectly embodies our enduring quest to provide Great Sound for All. Like every Reserve speaker, the R200AE is refined and expressive, presenting crisp, detailed highs; smooth, balanced mids; controlled, effortless bass; and a broad, immersive soundstage with pinpoint imaging—all at a price within reach.

To make this version extra special, we added acoustic upgrades and luxurious finishing touches that’ll earn this speaker pride of place in your living room, like authentic oiled cherry wood veneers, upgraded crossovers, and premium 24K gold-plated five-way binding posts. Signed by Matthew Polk and numbered on a unique, laser-etched backplate, it includes a certificate of authenticity.

Of course, we couldn’t call this a Reserve speaker without incorporating all of the innovations that earned the series top honors this year from the likes of The Absolute Sound and Sound+Vision:

A highly damped Turbine Cone midrange woofer features molded ridges that increase stiffness without adding mass, for smooth, detailed midrange with dazzling dimensionality.

Polk's proprietary X-Port utilizes precisely tuned pipe absorbers and filters to ensures a rich and detailed, resonance-free listening experience with tight distortion-free bass and a clean midrange.

It’s all housed in rigid, acoustically inert cabinets that are cross-braced and optimized through laser Doppler vibrometry to eliminate resonances.

Reserve R200AE is Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Auro-3D, Imax Enhanced, and Hi-Res Audio certified. It’s available now in a very limited run of just 1,000 pairs.
